College of Agriculture

Graduate Students

Dear Graduate Students,

Welcome to Kansas State College of Agriculture family! The College of Agriculture has a Diversity Programs Office (DPO) committed to assisting students in developing the values of character, conscience, civility and citizenship; an appreciation of diversity and social responsibility. As the only DPO in the Big 12, we are committed to increasing your appreciation for and understanding of differences by participating in a wide range of services and support your matriculation into the work force as you complete your terminal degree.

As the Assistant Dean for Diversity, my role is to assist and support you in achieving your academic and personal goals, and more specifically with a multicultural understanding. Should you need additional assistance during your time at Kansas State, your diversity programs office is here for you! We seek to intentionally promote diversity, cultural awareness, and sensitivity training to balance the components of intellectual, physical, emotional and social and spiritual growth.

We know you will find your home in the College of Agriculture, where you will learn and grow through experiences. You will find staff, faculty and administrators that are dedicated to supporting your well-being, growth and success. Please use this website to explore the variety of things that are available to you. If you don’t find what you are looking for contact me. Your questions, concerns, comments and suggestions are always welcome and will help me in my role as a student advocate.

Your experiences at Kansas State University—from making friends to acquiring academic knowledge—will last you a lifetime. Hope to see you soon and Go Cats!
