Year after year, applied communications majors, like Agricultural Communications and Journalism, offer steadier employment than other communications fields.

What You’ll Study

Study agricultural or environmental sciences as well as mass communications. Gain hands-on experience working with real clients on communication strategies. Be part of the team creating and producing the K-State Agriculturalist, a student-produced, full-color publication. Take courses that prepare you for your future career like crisis communication, new media technology and agricultural business communications. Enhance your ability to communicate about natural and applied sciences.
