The Department of Animal Sciences and Industry is fully engaged in embracing the challenges of the future in order to continue providing the objective information and training needed by the citizens of Kansas and elsewhere to thrive in the midst of change. The department offers undergraduate curriculum options in animal products, bioscience/biotechnology/business, communications and marketing, production manatement, and science/pre-vet. Graduate degrees are available in the areas of behavior, health, and welfare; breeding and genetics; food science; meat science; monogastric nutrition; ruminant nutrition; and physiology.
