Educational Study Abroad

All undergraduate students in the College of Agriculture are encouraged to include an international study experience as part of their K-State education. Due to the global nature of agriculture, students in all majors would benefit from including foreign language and international culture and business courses in their curricula.

"My favorite part of being involved in the study abroad program was being able to experience so many different things related to agriculture. We toured several different farms ranging from livestock to crops and were able to see how different agriculture is from the way they graze animals to harvesting crops. I enjoyed having the opportunity to learn and see how agriculture is in Ireland.“

- Jessica Jensen, Agricultural Communications and Journalism

“Studying abroad in France was an enriching experience for me. Not only did I learn about European agriculture, government, history and the French language in class, but I also was submerged in French culture everyday! Interning on a vineyard with a French host family is something I think everyone should have on their bucket list!”

- Paige Vulgamore, Agricultural Economics
