Diversified Agriculture

students with cattleDiversified Agriculture provides students a broad base in all areas of agriculture while allowing them to focus on a concentration in their area of interest. This option is ideal for incoming students who want a broad degree, those who have changed agriculture majors one or more times, and students transferring in lower-division courses from more broad-based agricultural curricula. Diversified agriculture is designed to be flexible for career interests and timely completion. This degree is available both online and in person.

Concentrations

A student will complete a concentration from one program within agriculture. Concentrations are generally 4 to 5 classes in a specific agricultural pathway. Cross-pathway concentrations, such as global food systems, may also be considered.

Involvement

Manhattan campus students have the opportunity to be part of a variety of clubs and organizations that cater to their interests in agriculture. The diversified agriculture major is ideal for student-athletes and others who have time-intensive campus commitments due to its flexibility.
