Students, alumni, administrators and our team describe the College of Agriculture as a close-knit community, more like a family. Although many people throw that word around, we believe it is true. We are not just top-notch faculty, researchers and staff coming to work every day, we are showing up excited to work towards new solutions to set our communities up for future success. We are AgCats that work side-by-side with the best in the industry to make a genuine difference as a next-gen land grant university.

Hands-on Learning for Student Success

Our faculty works to ensure our students graduate ready to jump into the workforce and are career ready. Students are engaged through innovative teaching approaches, hands-on learning opportunities and real life scenarios. This approach also includes inviting industry experts to share their experiences in class, clubs and organization meetings. Students have the opportunity to gain experiences through field trips to meet with industry professionals in their settings or participate in study abroad trips to better understand agriculture's global nature.
